Northumberland County Council:

Northumberland County Council send mowers out to cut the village green several times a year and that makes our job of maintaining and edging the green that bit easier. They also send out the road cleaner just before judging days in order to tidy up the mess we make sweeping the streets and clearing weeds from the edges of the roads.  With help from our council we look forward to making Great Whittington not only a Northumbria in Bloom winner to be proud of but one of the prettiest villages in Northumberland.
